Revolutionizing Environmental Remediation
BacTech Environmental Corporation (BEC) is a publicly-listed Canadian company with its shares quoted on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE), symbol BAC. It was created in December 2010 by virtue of a Plan of Arrangement from its former parent company, BacTech Mining Corporation (BMC). BacTech applies bioleaching technology to abatement and reclamation projects to remove the harmful elements such as arsenic and sulphur from the environment, where this can be assisted by a positive cash flow from metal recovery. Examples of metals which could potentially be extracted include gold, silver, cobalt, nickel, copper, uranium and zinc.
