About The Project
THE CLIENT
Holloman Air Force Base is located six miles southwest of Alamogordo, New Mexico. It is home to the 49th Wing, which plays a key role in the national security objectives of the United States by providing combat-ready personnel, delivering Air Transportable Clinics, and training pilots and sensor operators.
Originally established in 1942, Holloman AFB is also home to the 635th Material Maintenance Group, which is the Air Force’s only organic Basic Expeditionary Airfield Sources unit and is responsible for providing mission-ready equipment to support the Nation’s priorities.
THE ASK
When officials with the 635th Material Maintenance Group at Holloman Air Force Base recognized an immediate need for additional storage and maintenance space, they turned to Sprung for a fast and affordable solution.
“The expedited manufacturing timeline for Sprung Structures was super attractive, as the requirement was immediate.”
