In this Episode of MSTA CANADA’s The DIG, listen to Ryan McEachern speak with Justin Downey of RWDI; a company that has developed a portable PCR testing solution for COVID-19 and returns a result within 90 minutes. PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) is a process to detect and identify trace bits of DNA and RWDI has developed it to be as small as a tissue box. This could be a game-changer for detecting COVID-19 in asymptomatic environments and as a vital part of the screening and tracing at mine sites.
