- Rio Tinto Group's embattled Jadar lithium project in Serbia has received fresh backing from Jose Fernandez, under secretary for economic growth, energy and the environment at the US State Department, following a meeting with President Aleksandar Vucic on Oct. 10 in Belgrade.
