Goodfellow has been in the Shaft Timber business for over 65 years. We fabricated most of the timber in all the most important mines in Canada. Agnico-Eagle, Barrick, Vale (Inco) are among our many customers.

We have fabricated and supplied many projects in America and around the world. We carry over a million dollars in timber, specifically for the mining business, including all sizes of Douglas Fir guides, Karri guides, laminated guides and square timber – 8’’ x 8’’ to 16’’ x 16’’, as well as custom framing and shaft sets. We also supply all types of hardware and we are equipped for immediate just-in-time delivery.

Our fabrication facility is the largest in North America, equipped with our numerical control Hundegger fabricating machine for precision drilling, notching and angle cutting. We also have many historical files of shaft plans of most mines in Canada and around the world.
