MacLean Engineering specializes in underground mobile equipment solutions based on hard rock mining experience, multi-discipline engineering capability, unit-of one manufacturing expertise, and worldwide customer service and support.
MacLean Engineering (“MacLean”) is a Canadian-based mining equipment manufacturer that has been designing and supporting mobile equipment around the mining world for over 50 years. Our product line covers the full spectrum of production support equipment categories – bolters, shotcrete sprayers, concrete transport trucks, secondary reduction drills, water cannons, explosives chargers, elevated work platforms, material and personnel transport, and graders. We launched our Fleet Electrification Program in 2015 and since that time have designed and sold over 100 BEVs and amassed 500,000+ operating hours in the field. Our manufacturing facility footprint links production capacity across three factories in the southern Georgian Bay region of Ontario, with a plant in Queretaro, Mexico. Just as importantly, we have an extensive Service & Support branch network throughout the underground mining hubs of Canada, including Sudbury, Ontario; Val d’Or, Quebec; Creighton, Saskatchewan; and, Thompson, Manitoba. From the frontlines of technological and manufacturing innovation in the mining sector, we never lose sight of the people behind the machines – the 1,200+ MacLean employees around the globe whose work helps make mining safer and more productive. Safety in our veins, innovation in our DNA.
